Al-Imam Malick Islamic Institute (AMII) under Sumpundoukati Society, Kanifing, The Gambia, is committed to protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information collected, stored, or processed through our official website, student portal, and internal systems. This policy applies to students, parents, staff, and visitors of our Islamic and Arabic educational programs.

Scope: This policy covers our website, student records, Tahfiz & examination data, administrative meetings, and award certificates recognized by the Ministry of Education of KSA and the General Secretariat for Islamic and Arabic Education.

Student personal data (admission forms, birth certificates, exam results for Junior/Senior Secondary) is classified as confidential.

Personal information submitted through admission forms, contact forms, or during administrative meetings after working hours is handled with care and used only for legitimate educational purposes: enrollment, examinations (First Term 20 Feb 2027, Second Term 19 June 2027), and communication about cultural week and student trips to Banjul, Kachikally, Abuko, and Fathala Zoo Senegal.

When using external services (hosting, analytics, or World Assembly of Muslim Youth - WAMY platform), we ensure they follow industry-standard security practices and do not sell student data. We are an official member of WAMY.

7 Incident Response & National Compliance

In the event of a security breach or suspicious activity, we take immediate action to investigate, contain, and resolve the issue in coordination with the General Secretariat for Islamic and Arabic Education in The Gambia. Incidents affecting our Best Performing Institute award data or Quran Competition results are reported within 24 hours.
